Curriculum - Senior Curriculum

Lower School (Years 7 to 8)

In Lower School, pupils study a wide range of subjects in a carefully designed programme created to best prepare pupils for GCSE study when in Upper School.  An exciting variety of resources and methods are used to enhance teaching and learning.

 

Upper School (Years 9 to 11)

In Upper School, pupils will study a rigorous programme of GCSE subjects providing a solid base for sixth form study.  Whilst there is some flexibility with regard to subject choices, all pupils will be expected to study a good range of academic subjects, some of which may be optional.

Sixth Form (Years 12 to 13)

For information on our Sixth Form please telephone the school office and request a copy of our 2009-2010 Sixth Form Information Booklet.

Homework

Each year group will have its own homework timetable and pupils will be given a copy of this at the beginning of the academic year.  All pupils are expected to keep a record of their homework in a School Planner.  This School Planner will also be used by form tutors to record comments.  It should be signed weekly by parents/guardians as well as the form tutor.
