Laura attended trials at Monkton Stadium in Jarrow last Sunday representing A Company in the Intercompany Army Athletic Trials. After winning Discus, long jump, 100m, 200m and relay she was chosen to represent her Detachment in the District Championships.  

 

Laura has just returned from the District Army Cadet Force Athletics Championships held at Shildon Stadium in County Durham after winning 4 gold medals for Long jump, 100m, 200m and relay.  She also collected the trophy for the winning Intermediate girls team.  Laura also managed to beat two of her personal best times running the 100m in 12.53 seconds and the 200m in 27.73 seconds.

 

Laura will now represent her Company in the Regional Championships to be held in Catterick Garrison on the 3rd of June 2007.  Congratulations Laura, we wish you well.
