RECORDer Achievement - 1.7.2005

Members of the lunchtime recorder club were rewarded for all their hard work, when on the 6th June, they were able to join with six other Sunderland schools for a Recorder Play Day.  This is an annual event organised by the Sunderland Music Association.  Nine pupils from Year 4 represented the school, and following a rigorous morning workshop, they joined the hundred plus performers to given an afternoon's entertainment to an audience of pupils and teacher's from the hosting school.  Certificates were presented in recognition of all their hard work.
