I am excited at the prospect of working with our current Sixth Form students and with prospective ones; seeing each person achieve good grades at A-level and take advantage of the other activities and opportunities that we are now able to offer at Grindon Hall is my goal.

 

I would encourage you to read through the Sixth Form Information booklet carefully because it does give a realistic flavour of the academic atmosphere in Sixth Form. It is different from the rest of the school; students are treated as young adults taking responsibility for their studies and as people with whom it is possible to communicate on an increasingly mature level. Sixth Formers, although under pressure academically, are happy to be here, and are happy with one another; this creates a wonderful atmosphere. I hope that you will see that we have much to offer your child next year.
