Pupils with Statements and those for whom English is a second language

Here at GHCS we reserve a limited number of places for those with statements and those for whom English is a second language.

Operating an 'all inclusive' policy, the students are taught in class with the help of a support teacher.  Occasionally they benefit from group work and also one-to-one teaching.

All statemented pupils follow their own Individual Educational Plan, which is constantly monitored and reviewed bi-annually.  Reviews are held annually when all professionals who work with the child, are invited to attend.  Parents are encouraged to work in partnership with the school to maximise the full potential of the child.
